Ron Herman, Foothill College Photography Department Head
I love doing headshots on white. The contrast is stunning and leaves no doubt as to the enthusiasm, engagement and assertiveness of the man being photographed.
In my opinion this is how Palo Alto Headshots should be photographed.
Ron was a lot of fun to work with and I am honored to have been given the chance to create spectacular headshots of the head of the photographic department at Foothill College.
Natalie was great to work with. her philosophy of care and spiritual health was both energizing and welcome.
Sam Doying, Executive Coach
Sam came to my Palo Alto headshot studio one morning with the goal of getting a headshot or two.
Working together we created 15 great images that captured his integrity, resolve and calm leadership.
Divya Kumar, Interior Design
Divya is returning to work after becoming a young mother. She came in from Sunnyvale needing professional headshots for her resumé, social media and her own business website
We had a wonderful shoot with Divya in my Palo Alto photo studio. She was concerned about blending her skin tone. So, she brought her own set in and my makeup artist, Mytstique Makeup worked with her colors. The result was spectacular.
We got more than just the professional headshots she needed to add to her CV, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook profiles. We created images for her website and for her company website as well.
It was fun working with her and I look forward to working with her again.
Tara Klein, Writer
Tara worked with me to create her professional headshots when I was in my temporary Sunnyvale studio.
She needed images for her professional website and social media. It was easy to capture the warmth of her personality.
She was more animated than mosT of the clients I work with in my Palo Alto studio. But that was natural for her.
She’s a great communicator so I understood exactly what message she wanted her headshots to convey: energy, charm, friendliness, enthusiasm depth of character and intelligence.
We nailed it with this one.
Heidi Mortensen, Interior Design
Heidi needed to update her professional headshots for her company website, and social media pages.
She’s self employed and needed several different headshots to present herself appropriately in any given circumstance.
My Palo Alto headshot studio is designed to be comfortable and facilitate the high production needed by busy professionals. Heidi was very comfortable changing her outfit several times in our two hour headshot photo session.
I have a large private dressing room with a professional makeup station and full length mirror where she could spread out and easily access all of her clothes and jewelry for the shoot.
Jed Springer, Commercial Realtor
Jed was great. The challenge I had with Jed was his height.
Being 6’ 9” it is difficult to capture his true self. Every photograph he had showed him seated, this is an unnatural position for him because he is very athletic, water polo. This man simply doesn’t sit around.
So, I built a platform in my Palo Alto Professional headshot studio that brought me up to his height. This allowed him to remain on his feet, maintaining his natural stance and allowing his strength and confidence to shine throughly how he carried himself
Thomas, Graphic Artist
Thomas came into my professional headshot studio in Palo Alto from Oakland.
He was a lot of fun, high energy, expressive and outgoing.
He knew the look he wanted. My in-house makeup artist, Mystique Makeup added some shimmer to his skin and gold eye liner to bring out his strongest features.
